5 behavioral traits of Callify Super Recruiters
Every month Callify announces 3 Super Recruiter winners amongst its 1000s of recruiters using Callify platform. As a process, our customer success teams interview each super recruiter to understand what they do differently than other recruiters and also to gather any areas of product improvement.
After having done 100s of such interviews, we have been to able to analyze and aggregate unique behavioral traits that Super Recruiters share and maybe this is why they seem to be the winners:
Trait 1: They are Ambiverts (Introverts mostly but Extroverts when needed)
Although this is more of a personality trait; in this context it is more of a behavioral trait. Their trait helps them to dig deeper into various aspects like truly identifying key elements of the job requirement; their ability to research on Google almost everything from new skills, to new words, to right pronunciations of tricky words etc. However, when they do recordings, they become extrovertish in their presentation with extreme confidence; pleasant sounding voice and engaging persona.
Trait 2: They Practice hard
It’s like how professional sports people practice for months/days before they step on the field on match day; we saw this trait quite common amongst our Super Recruiters. Subconsciously, they turn their vulnerability and anxiety to their advantage and prefer practicing well before using the product for live campaigns. Even if some of them have done 100s of campaigns and reached out to 1000s of candidates; they still practice new ways & approaches and improvise their techniques.
Trait 3: They Think big
If they are managing 10 positions, they want to close all 10 positions. They like to reachout to a larger set of candidates even if they were filling just one position. They thrive on the belief that the hiring manager should be able to get their most suitable find within one submittal. They ask for additional features in the product so that they can do much more with the product. They want to win awards and recognition. They want to be the leaders on the leaderboard when it comes to usage and performance. They are ambitious with all their energy focused towards achieving their goals.
Trait 4: They are Modest
This was a very contrary trait when compared to the think big trait. Although high performers, they still feel they could have done better. On winning the award they continue to feel they were lucky and that there would be other recruiters better than them. This trait drives them to never be complacent and always keep enhancing their skills and techniques.
Trait 5: They are Disciplined
We saw immense amount of consistency in their day-to-day behaviors. Most of them have time slots in day, usually mornings, they follow to creating and releasing campaigns. They have dedicated time slots to focus on stakeholder interactions, reporting and non-candidate facing times. They have clear idea of their golden hours, bulk of their daily time, where they prefer to dedicate to candidate engagements and interactions.
While these traits we were able to gather from our Super Recruiters (Callify users), we believe these are the very traits that every recruiter ought to develop to be Super Recruiters (whether Callify user or not).
